"Montana" is a 15yr old gelding. He stands a solid 15.3h and is a horse ANYONE can ride. Whether you are 2 or 102 this
boy will take great care of you. He is a retired ranch horse, most likely from Montana, and just can't take the hard work
anymore. No spook, no vices. He is the perfect horse for the beginner to learn everything from grooming, picking up feet (without
the fear of loosing your face) and the enjoyment of riding. He came to A Solid Foundation so the I can help him find a good
home. He still loves to work but can't do the all day trail rides or hard riding anymore. He can go down the road for a few
miles and babysit the kids all day long!!! Asking $700 but a GREAT home is worth more than money and a reasonable offer from

Chico is a 5yr old gelding that stands approx 15h. He is a dream to be around with a very nice, easy disposition. He is
a little too much for the owner and is being sold. In the time I have had him here I have found him to be very safe but quick.
At this point in his training I would not concider him a beginners horse but would do well with a teenager who has been riding
for awhile. Given some time he will be one of those horses anyone can ride. Perfect little horse for 4H and open shows this
year!!!! I have ridden him down the road and have had no spooking issues. Loads, stands for vet/ferrier, (gets a little mad
about his back feet but we're working on that one and he's doing much better) ties no buck or rear. UTD on coggins and shots.
He is a bit green but very smart and willing to learn. Asking $800.00 for him. I would be more than happy to put some extra
time on him to get him headed whatever direction you choose at a discounted price. He is being ridden here on a regular training
schedule and will only improve as he moves along.

This horse is to die for!!!! Ransom is an 8yr old grade gelding and stands a solid 15.3h. He has been used
as a trail horse here in Minnesota (Hay Creek/Zumbro Bottoms) and in South Dakota but would make a fantastic english horse
that would do well in the open shows. Ransom has a nice smooth trot but if you sit deep, gather your riegns and post.....he
naturally moves into an extended trot that is top notch. I am selling him for a friend who just has too many horses and wants
to find Ransom a good home were he will be enjoyed. He sat all winter and I have only put 3 rides on him without the "normal"
spring time issues. There is no need to spend 1/2 your ride time lunging him out or fighting with this horse. Just saddle
up and go. He neck riens and moves off your leg. Transitions easily from gait to gait and has a nice set of breaks. Stand
for ferrier/vet, bathes, loads and is an easy keeper. Although this guy is broke, broke, broke, due to his "get up and go"
I don't recommend him for a beginner or a timid rider. He is a complete gentleman, just a BIG mover. Someone needs to buy
this horse quickly before I can't talk myself out of him anymore. (one more horse here could equal marrital probs)

Cutter is a 9 yr old gelding looking for a loving home and a job. His top notch breeding is more evident every day. He
was purchased for a family member back in 2004 and just wasn’t used but, even after sitting for 6 years I was able to
tack him up, get on and have a very nice ride with no lunging for an hour, no buck, no running off, NO issues what so ever!
Due to his lack of work over the years he is a bit green but with just a couple months of good riding he would be that horse
ANYONE can ride. He is currently here at A Solid Foundatin, and is ready for you to finish him up the way you want. He is
